First Congregational Church of Anaheim was
founded in 1958 on the property surrounding the historic Griffith
House. The Griffith House was constructed in 1919 and was donated to
the church along with an orange orchard in 1957. Mrs. Griffith
helped to feed the homeless who lived near the Santa Ana River. Mr.
Griffith was a sea captain who traveled the world bringing back
exotic trees, three of which are still on the grounds.
We offer our members a church services, ministry and fellowship and
an established school for pre K and kindergarten classes.
Our Mission Statement:
“Come for your children; stay for yourself” is truly lived out every
day by our church members. We are a family and we take care of each
other at the same time we do God’s work.
Everyone is welcome and you will find a warm, accepting place and a
chance to make a difference. Come and worship in a wonderful
supportive environment. First Congregational Church of Anaheim is a
setting where people can support one another during the difficult
times of life and celebrate during the good times”
Visit us at FCCA Church and School and see how to make the ordinary
experience an extraordinary one. It can be small amenities or big
events but you will always feel welcomed and blessed. Our membership
